A packed meeting (about 350) heard presentations from Veronica Reed ( former manager MASC) and Mike Parker (Save The Hamptons) video here.

The meeting was chaired by Karen Bellerby, an international toastmaster who read an open letter from the Chelmsford Muslim Society who declined an invitation to attend.

Councillor Sue Young read an email from Robin Hosegood (Chelmsford City Council) to Vicky Ford MP (who was unable to attend). The email outlined the current information avaulable regarding the use class of the building, and planning permission.

Questions were taken from the floor, and the meeting closed with a vote on the current plans being suggested by the Chelmsford Muslim Society, with only one member of the public being in favour.

Thank you to everyone that attended, and we’ll contact you by email with our newsletter very soon.
